In the last few days, my kid has turned off read receipts in his messages app.

He's a good kid, but he's almost 14, so he can be surly when we remind him of something that we already checked in with him about, so his choice to do that is mildly annoying to me.

I guess my only option is to show him that it'll be even more annoying that we'll check in with him over and over again if he doesn't acknowledge.
