Kalyan = Lydian
Marwa = none
Purvi = none
Bhairav = double harmonic major
Bhairavi = Phrygian
Asavari = natural minor
Kafi = Dorian

Khamaj = Mixolydian
Families are not raags themselves. Raags are more complicated than just the scale, with strict rules for the order of notes, which notes can be ornamented, which can be connected by glides, and which must be emphasized.
