I had a new synth delivered today, a spiffy #Yamaha #ModX+ (the 76-key one) and it turned up with the touchscreen touch stone dead. Rebooted, went online to find hard resets but the hard reset uses... yup, you guessed it, the touchscreen.

It's probably something as simple as a ribbon cable that's come loose in transit but I'm not gonna void the warranty by opening up.

It made me miss r/synthesizers on #Reddit because the kbin equivalent.... well, it's tumbleweed cos it's new.

Getting clients to trust/buy into a technology or software they have not heard of is always difficult.

I have this problem with #modx a lot. Users always want to go with #wordpress even if it is not the best solution to their needs.

Case studies, demos and examples are all good but it always feels like an upwards battle.
