1. This round clay disc, looking a bit like a broken biscuit, is at #Moesgaard Museum near Aarhus in Denmark. It doesn't look like much. If you look carefully, you can see some circular depressions around its centre, and some linear depressions radiating out from them towards the edge of the disc. They look as though they have been made by a finger in wet clay. The diagram shows how the museum have recorded those lines and circles....
