Haven't yet tooted much in the way of science, so here is one of my favourite images from our research. This is a hollow capsule made from a porous zeolitic-imidazolate framework (ZIF) that was templated around an emulsion droplet then etched to introduce the intricate structuring. They resemble pollen grains and the etching process was dicovered by accident while trying to do something else! #Chemtoots #Chemiverse #Materials #MOFiverse #RealTimeChem
