The stunning extreme terrain of the Mojave Desert Nevada USA, was magnificent as seen from a helicopter. The dramatic aerial view landscape with mountains, cliffs, ridges and red rock was not only hypnotic but awe inspiring!

From 19th century mule teams hauling boron, to the uranium boom of the 1950’s, to modern mining operations like the Mountain Pass #RareEarthElements #mine, the #Mojave has been in the middle. The need for #CriticalMinerals, like #lithium or #RareEarth #minerals for use in gadgets and as part of the transition to clean energy has never been greater. Introduced gasses and mustard have changed that, as they now provide fuel between the larger plants, allowing fires to spread in places where they historically wouldn't. Add hot dry winds and you get #wildfires
