Some of the last visible remnants of the Glasgow section of the Molendinar Burn as it passes under Duke Street in the east end of Glasgow.

The Molendinar was the centre of the original settlement from which Glasgow grew and in the past it was an important source of water for both people and industry. The section which pass through the city are now mostly covered, but the burn still flows beneath the streets of Glasgow.
