It's almost always true that banning something might as well = Operation Backfire. So, you know, #bookbans suck and #censorship sucks--and no I'm not in support of bans. But one bright spot--the nature of the ban contradicts itself. Bans are almost always unsuccessful.

It's the "almost" you gotta watch out for and make sure it isn't sneaky and/or concrete.

The public comment period is open until December 15.

This rule, should it go into effect, will harm #molibraries. For my library in particular, it would curtail our courier service (aka, the ability to transfer and receive requested items, underwritten by state) and our ability to provide internet access (provided by a nonprofit state tech service--unless we play by the "rule."
