Today I have been working on our new #musical about #MollyDowner, the #Witch of #Bembridge. This project has been consuming me, my heart is heavy and I’ve been teary; this story is emotionally draining, but wonderful.

After a life of heartbreak and betrayal, someone showed her tenderness and love in her last moments, I know this because when researching I came upon these lines that were written in 1844 by E. Hartnall. "...as if she [Molly] had died in her bed and received from friendly hands the last sad offices charitable love renders to the remains of the object of its affection." — it fills my heart with sadness and hope all at once.
