I had two cameras on me at the time. One with a 35mm prime and the other a 50mm. I've become quite lazy with the 35mm in recent months. It gives me enough wide angle for reportage and context, but also lets me close focus when I need a little detail. 24mm and 50mm are my usual primes, but the 35mm is great when you just want one lens.

I love the simplicity of a kitchen in Nepal. Everything you need is out and ready to grab. Sometimes there's a few health and safety issues though I have to admit, like when he grabs the steamer with his hands and a bit of paper. Anyway here's a portrait of my new buddy.

Was staying at a very small "resort" of sorts near Kathmandu a few months ago and the chef was just a delightful chap and one afternoon I stayed in rather than taking a hike in the hills so he asked if I wanted to photograph him making some momos for lunch. That made me very happy!
