Nachdem die #NFL furios in die Saison gestartet ist, gibt es an diesem Wochenende wieder viel Live- #AmericanFootball in Deutschland.

In der #ErimaGFL geht es um die Reihenfolge in den Playoffs.
Sicher ist, dass die #Dukes im Viertelfinale zu den #Royals
Reisen werden.
Bezüglich der Playoffs tippe ich heute auf Siege für #Unicorns, #Monarchs, #Dukes und #Lions.

A neighbor down the alley has *the* monarch and pollinator oasis in his backyard. So many mating pairs and butterflies of all kinds flitting around! I am always so pleased with my own native pollinator patches in my yard, but his was another level.
Over the weekend I got his permission to pop into his yard and take some photos so now that I've got some days off, I'm looking forward to being a little shutterbug there for the next couple days.

I've seen a lot of folks recently posting photos of their #monarchbutterfly caterpillar enclosures and most look like the enclosures are indoors.

This is a #PSA to help get the word out:

Indoor raised #monarchs are more likely to develop and spread disease to wild populations, AND are significantly less likely to successfully fly south for the winter.

"Being exposed to an indoor environment with artificial light, constant temperature and top choice of milkweed provided by their captors they do not develop the environmental cues needed for pre-migratory behaviors."

Please please do your part to help boost populations the way nature intended, with planting milkweed and doing what you can to protect food sources monarchs need, fully outdoors. Plant native (to your area) nectar sources and please spread the word to others so their efforts benefit the ones we're trying to save.

I didn't plan on rearing Monarchs again but a few tiny plants had popped up that had to be pulled, and then I found eggs already on them. So now I have 8 eggs to take care of 😬, at least until they are big enough to be transferred outside.
It can be tricky - I have had luck some years, and not in another.

Hab nichts Neues gehört. Verfolge das aber auch nur lose. Zu den #Monarchs hab ich es dieses Saison auch noch nicht geschafft. Die Wochenenden sind alle ausgebucht.
Hast du weitere Infos was mit Leipzig in der #elf los ist? Klingt gar nicht gut für die Zukunft.

Dunno who needs to hear it, but you’re definitely in a #cult if the leaders/authority figures have convinced themselves that they’re the #reincarnations of famous #monarchs, #deities, #saints, or other mega-important figures, and feel comfortable declaring who will be destroyed in the coming shift/cataclysm/whatever.
