Basically that the #inflation could not be passed on due to a cap from the regulator. Apparently govt is stepping in to try a prevent private operators from cutting ppls power off but some outages are still expected apparently.

Yes, but #interestRate hikes will not mean much if the #moneyPump is still pumping 'up the wahzoo'. Also they need to be seen relative to where they need to be.

We have and are seeing a dodgy #financialProducts and schemes being bandied around all over.

A #maximumRentalIncome fixed to the 10% above the #socialSecuriy payment or a UBI would likely help seperate wheat from chaff.

We'll need to keep an eye on a number of things in the melting pot.

We theorised last year that there's a definate air of #1970s-style #PropertyOwningDemocracy in the mania surrounding #scamTokens.

On this occasion though we think the #moneyPrinters will always reward those participating in the #mania via #AI because it keeps #kids off streets and in a digital, electrified world.

For the longest time, they've been trying to decouple #GDPGrowth from #growth in energy/resource use.

At one point in the paper they put 'educated' in inverted commas, stating how the #education systems are failing against mythical #economicNarratives like 'growth can continue forever if it's in #serviceIndustries', or '#technology can save us'.

They're right, #perpetualGrowth itself is delusional, and its great to see them specifically target the 3.5% number #Keynesianism clings to. It doesn't delve into the #moneyPump specifically, which is unfortunate.

A #flatFee would work if ceteris paribus (all things remain equal), but we all know now they have a #moneyPump that they use to help those close to #power and so this is likely to be a remix of the failed #trickleDownEconomics.

Even years before the 2019 #RepoCrisis and ensuing #bailouts thinkers were saying a #carbonTax would lead to #financialisation, without properly addressing issues.
