#TodayInHistory Mongols under Hulagu attack the Nizari stronghold of Alamut Castle in 1526, from 3 fronts during their offensive in Islamic regions of South West Asia. The castle fell to the hordes and was demolished, and most of the Nizaris were massacred en masse.
