No more unplanned bridge closures due to obsolescence in the future⁉️ As part of a joint project, #FraunhoferIZFP is working in the "ImaB-Edge" project to use distributed sensor electronics to make the #monitoring of #infrastructure structures efficient, predictive, autonomous and permanent. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research is supporting the project with 5.6 million euros.

Saving money on #Observability tooling is incredibly simple. Turn off all the tooling. Maximum savings instantly achieved.
But if you wanted something *short* of that extreme, you'll need a coherent #o11y framework, an understanding of your business, and some judgment.

Die #Berichterstattungsstelle geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt des Deutschen Instituts für Menschenrechte (#DIMR) hat Ende August den ersten Bericht über die Datenlage zu geschlechtsspezifischer Gewalt gegen Frauen und häuslicher Gewalt in Deutschland veröffentlicht.
Mit dem Bericht der Berichterstattungsstelle geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt liegt nun erstmals eine deutschlandweite Bestandsaufnahme der aktuellen Datenlage im Bereich der geschlechtsspezifischen Gewalt vor.
Die Berichterstattungsstelle hat in einem umfänglichen Verfahren die Datenlage auf Bundes- und Landesebene analysiert. Dabei wurden auch #Datenbestände nichtstaatlicher Stellen erfasst. Der Bericht zeigt zudem auf, welche Schritte notwendig sind, um die Daten für ein kontinuierliches #menschenrechtsbasiertes #Monitoring nutzbar zu machen.
