A Psalm for the Wild-Built was wonderful. It was gently paced. Leisurely, but didn’t feel slow. I intend to read the next Monk and Robot book, but I don’t feel in a rush to do so.

Absolutely loved the second in the Monk and Robot series of novellas by Becky Chambers. A Prayer For The Crown Shy follows on from A Psalm For The Wild Built, picks up where that left off, and imho manages to improve on one of my favourites. Like all great sci-fi this explores the nature of humanity from an outsider's perspective. It explores ideas of purpose, belonging and need. Highly recommended. Soothing, moving and insightful.
