Picked up #MonochromeMobius in the #SteamWinterSale I'm a huge fan of the #Utawarerumono series, so I'm pretty curious to try a #JRPG set in the same world.

I ended up finishing #MonochromeMobius last night (took ~40 hours)

In the end, I did end up enjoying it.

The battle system does have interesting ideas with how it implemented turns and buffs/debuffs. The battles weren't tuned well, so they end up being a slog.

I liked the interaction between characters.

Disliked how it feels like not much was explained and the sequel bait at the end. Actually thought there would be something more after loading the clear save.

I've played about 30 hours of #MonochromeMobius so far. It's still mediocre as an RPG, but I'm having a decent amount of fun with it, anyway. The VA for Halu (Kentaro Tone it seems) does a pretty good Keiji Fujiwara impression, though. At first, I thought they had some AI replicate his voice or something >.> #gaming #utawarerumono

15 hours into #MonochromeMobius and the RPG parts of it haven't really gotten any better. However, the writing is starting to become what you expect from from an #Utawarerumono game, including the standard "men getting really drunk and then stripping" scene. #gaming

I didn't realize that the #utawarerumono related #MonochromeMobius released more than a week ago. I've been trying it out for the past couple of days. They made it a regular RPG which turned out...mediocre in terms of actual gameplay. But, I'm sure the story will be awesome as always. #gaming
