@damselfly @devlord VS for Mac is _this close_ to being great, but it still has a bunch of quirks left over from #monodevelop. They just don’t give it the same experience as Visual Studio for windows and it is a bummer.

But it is still a really nice product!

Today I learned that #MonoDevelop, the free-sofware Mono IDE, was killed by Microsoft in 2020. The project is now part of the fully-proprietary Visual Studio for macOS.
