I spent 33+ years as a field officer for the GCHQ, the first 20 as a commissioned combat officer & the last thirteen-plus as a deep-cover Major Lieutenant., During that time, I forsook meaningful relationships for the sake of my missions and nearly died 100 times over. It was a lonely, grueling lifestyle & it did a lot to frame my thoughts on monogamy & the sanctity of relationships.

Sometimes I run into a profile that has pictures reminding me of Nancy. When that happens I throw up a little bit in my mouth and pass.

For those who don't know Nancy is the name I gave to the 30-something lady who dragged me around for 2.5 months at the beginning of my dating career (after 26 years of monogamy). She backpedaled towards monogamy when her husband found himself a girlfriend, and she became jealous. She ghosted me.

Why bi-**curious**? Why not a full blow bisexual? Or the equivalent?

No... really... it boggles the mind. Why would you want someone curious about it? All my poly-curious folks turned out monogamous in the end. If the bi-curious person says "it ain't for me after all," do you force them?
