Not for every problem as (famous and well paid) people propagated in all their talks and circlejerks on conferences for years.

leverage the fluidity of a PaaS to build fast and go to market and then rebuild as a sustainable and cost-effective architecture once they knew what to optimise for.

Amazon saved 90% of their costs by moving away from a serverless infrastructure to a monolith.
Monoliths have their place. Serverless setups have their place. It's important to consider what is best for your needs and that will change with every product you make.
They acknowledge the serverless setup helped them get the product lice quickly and efficiently.
Make it work, then make it good.
