A follow on toot(with photos to illustrate) regarding my 40 year old 'pneumatic' monopod.
It is of the unscrew(loosen), extend or retract and screw-up(tighten) any or all sections to the required height type.
Each section has a gas seal, so there is a very slight shock absorbing effect as well. 👍📷😎 #itdm5j21 #monopod #photo #photography #photographie

This then is the business end of my, forty year old, monopod. A Groschupp GCS1810(German - though no longer made I believe), with a Cullman(German) ball & socket head and a(Japanese - though also no longer made I believe) Camera Quick Shoe release. With the advent of digital cameras and my [questionable] technique, I find I don't use it so much nowadays.
This for those whom might find this item of equipment interesting.
