Yesterday was session 0 of season 2 for my monsterhearts 2 game, Venus01. (Lotta numbers there.)

The ghost is a were(coyote), the vampire is a serpentine, and the hollow is a seer. The fae was the only one who didn’t change skins.

The ghost also now has an accidental sibling: the ghost they invited back from the Venusian fae realm, who doesn’t speak and goes by “No”. (And is prone to jump scares.)

@rivetgeek I know it’s the first scenario, so not what the thread is ultimately about, but having played #MonsterHearts2 with people who think they’re playing Pathfinder can be incredibly frustrating.
Likewise having to explain multiple times why MH2 has *violence moves*, and not a *combat system*.

<_< Sitting here considering a Forged in the Dark hack. My recollection of the trauma system and some of the clocks during some games of Scum and Villainy fit the setting and lore of the idea I have.
Except, unlike Powered by the Apocalypse, I have minimal experience w/ FitD, and also I haven’t even finished my Monsterhearts 2 skins. :blobcatsleepless:

It’s wild to see the MEGA #Monsterhearts2 game being described from the player perspective.
Fun fact: It was not only my first time MCing a convention game— it was my first time MCing a #ttrpg in a physical space instead of on Zoom or Discord.
