While visiting Montemercurio vineyards in #Montepulciano (where I enjoyed the most amazing nearly 30 year old wine, called 1990, with an interesting backstory), a friend was greeted by this sassy cat, who wanted to be petted, but didn’t, but did, but didn’t…

It was late October, and still so balmy in the Tuscan sun.

When in Rome er... I mean the Riverina wine district of Australia, you have to go Italian varietal! This one in particular is the Warburn Estate 1164 Montepulciano and it is bloody delicious! Not a wine you get very often In Oz, but it is growing in popularity. Will definitely be grabbing a few bottles to take home!
