Row crop farmers are dealing with #drought, rising interest rates and input costs, and choppy commodity markets. The last thing any of them need is unwarranted damage to their fields.

Unfortunately, a farmer outside #Wellsville #Missouri is having to deal with that, as their field was subjected to what appears to be someone's idea of a joyride. As a result, $6000 worth of corn is flattened, and a suspect being held by the #MontgomeryCounty Sheriff's Office.

I am preparing for a #MontgomeryCounty #Maryland circuit court trial on April 3 in #Rockville in which I will attempt to invoke a #NecessityDefense to appeal my 120 day $1,000 sentence (only 6 days served, the rest suspended) for demanding @joebiden declare a #ClimateEmergency on the #DC beltway last October 10 and being arrested for trespass and failure to obey.

I have asked for a continuance because the State of Maryland has moved to bar my expert witnesses and my evidence and I don’t trust the circuit court to do the right thing so I have asked my witnesses to not come to court Monday. The circuit court previously barred me from having expert witnesses testify remotely (during our #CovidPandemic and #ClimateEmergency). The district court trial I am appealing was presided over by a judge holding #KinderMorgan stock.

Today I attended the somber ghost bike installation & memorial service for William Villavicencio, at Georgia Ave. & Janet in Montgomery Co., MD. William was a hit & run victim. See car below; if you remember seeing a car like this with damage, call MCPD. In MoCo, there are more bike & ped deaths by car than there are murders, and most happen in Black & Brown neighborhoods. Death by car is violence.

Out and about today. I caught up with the Common Loon at Violette's Lock, and saw a Red-headed Woodpecker, a sneaky Wild Turkey, and four Winter Wrens at Hughes Hollow. I showed the loon to several folks, birders and non-birders both.
