Hmmm. #TomoChanIsAGirl is one of those gender role mostly sketch comedies that pop up every so often.

The problem with these is that, well, comedy is HARD. It was somewhat amusing, but certainly not as sure footed as #MonthlyGirlsNozakiKun, and leaning somewhat more into the fanservice gags than I would like.

I’ll give it another episode, but this is one show that could get dropped suddenly without warning.

It’s been a while since I did one of these, and as I'm making an effort to be here more, I think it's time for an #introduction. Hi! I’m Kara, but you can also call me Kara Rose, Nico Nico Rose, whatevs there floats your boat. I’m a musician and writer, a fan of #idols and #LoveLive specifically, as well as other anime, games, and #girlykei fashion.

If you know me from writing, it’s likely because of Love Live! New Melody Project!!, my Love Live fan fic series. The first season of it wrapped up a little while ago, a 120,000 word fic sequel to the original School Idol Project that catches up with µ’s as adults dealing with life and relationships and fulfillment, and introduces some new school idols going for their dreams. Season one (and a prequel one-shot) is finished and on AO3, and I’m currently writing season two and a series of one-shots.

Music-wise, I’m the keyboard player and one of the songwriters of The Crystal Furs, an #indiepop music project. We put out our latest album, In Coastal Light, earlier in the year.

I absolutely adore Love Live, and that’s what like 90% of this account is about other than my day-to-day life. I love it all, but I have my favs. I’m a huge, huge Nozomi fangirl (and #NozoEli is my favorite ship), and unsurprisingly µ’s is where I got my start and where my deepest love still is, but I am also a fan of the other groups and shows! I can talk entirely too much about Love Live and how much I love it. It's a fandom that means an awful lot to me.

I’m a fan of indie, or “chika,” idols in real life, too, and am learning a lot about the underground idol scene and idol culture. Some of my favorite groups are Cherry Go!Go! and Atarashi Gakko.

I’m also into other anime besides Love Live - some of my favs are #RevueStarlight, #BocchiTheRock, #DoItYourself, #SakuraTrick, #AssaultLily, #AzumangaDaioh, #LaidBackCamp, #Hyouka, #LoveChunibyoAndOtherDelusions, #LuckyStar, #MonthlyGirlsNozakikun, #Symphogear, and #ZombielandSaga.

Gaming-wise, I'm into lesbian #jrpgs and action games , lesbian #visualnovel stuff, and some racing games. Stuff I've enjoyed recently: #BlueReflection - Second Light, #TheCaligulaEffect2, #SamuraiMaiden, #Harvestella, and #IdolManager. I'm also, somehow, a #Pokemon newbie, and I'm enjoying my first Pokemon game, #pokemonscarletviolet

I'm 40 years old, I'm #trans, and I'm a #lesbian . I'm in happy relationships and not looking for anything of that nature. Professionally, I'm a systems administrator.
