Bought a #hifiberry DAC+ Zero to sit on top of the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, and am struggling to find an OS that will work appropriately for my purposes. After trying out about 6 so far with no luck, I'm going to test #Volimio 3.512 and #MoOdeAudio tonight 🤞

Someone at HiFiBerry is claiming the 2W won't work well, while others are claiming success, sometimes via modded OS installs.

For anybody who uses the #moodeaudio music player with your own music library, a bit over a year ago I wrote an app and associated software to turn a cheap, old, or unused Android tablet into a "now playing" display for your stereo rack. It's a simple alternative to dedicated RPi screens and cases. It looks like this. You can find instructions and download links here: https://apps.joat.me/page/mpd-display/

I'll try to help with any problems you have and suggestions for improvement are welcome.
