I took this pic in Ziegenhain in 2018. As a "green basin" in which there is normally no water, the area in the pic serves as flood protection. The basin is located in the Schwalm landscape. The construction of the corresponding dams began in 1967 and was completed in 1972.

I took this pic at SPO. The 'Pfahlbauten' (stilt houses) are the iconic appearances at the beach of St. Peter-Ording. They were built in 1911.
I hope to see them again before they disappear one day due to the climate change.
