What a magical show. I hope it's not a one-off, and that we see a lot more like it.

Like I mentioned to @shipperslist, I came to #MoonlightChicken pretty much straight from #NotMe and so was blown away by the massive difference between First's characters. I was already impressed by his work as Yok, but Alan--just a total difference in physicality and mannerisms. Impressive!

Finished #MoonlightChicken. Did not expect to like this, but I really did. Mind you, it’s a rough watch at times, and it comes off almost as a slice of life type of format. Real people, hustling, family and ambiguous relationships. Aof Noppharnach is quickly becoming one of my fav tv directors both in drama and comedy with his heartfelt touch and perpetually imperfect happy endings. I'm so glad the instance is back. I was so bummed at the thought that I wouldn't have anyone to squee about #MoonlightChicken with.

@shipperslist I loved it, too! No villains, just grownups acting like grownups and learning from the emerging grownups around them.

I came to #MoonlightChicken more or less straight from #NotMe, so I was shocked by how completely different First is in each show.

I really liked this. It felt real and raw and realistic, and the way different kinds of relationships were portrayed was just one of the highlights. I especially enjoyed Wen and Li Ming. Such sass covering a heart of gold!

It's official: Moonlight Chicken is my new favorite BL. It's one of my favorite pieces of queer media I've ever seen. There are two main romances, but the show cares as much about the community and family relationships. The bonds run so deep even when people hurt each other, even when they can't love each other the way they might wish.

Truly, strongly recommend not just to BL enjoyers but to anyone who likes stories about home and community, love and loss and growth.

#MoonlightChicken episode 6. How is this show so good?! It's soapy, but it's real adult relationships, all messy and complicated.

I'm three episodes in with #MoonlightChicken and thoroughly, completely charmed.

#moonlightchicken continues to be one of the best shows i've ever seen. absolutely incredible writing, stellar acting and an aesthetic so beautiful it leaves you slack-jawed. i cannot recommend this one enough

#moonlightchicken Just watched ep 3 and 4. Everyone remains cute with everyone else, but man all the familial relationships :blobhaj_heart: :blobhaj_heart: :blobhaj_heart: I love that we're getting to see so many unconventional families, each one with their own struggles and love! Also, no spoilers but I am so eagerly anticipating how they're going to unknot all the tangles they've revealed and get us to all our happy endings haha

Heart's and Ming Li's fight with the garden hose was maybe my favorite moment in #MoonlightChicken this week.
