Je lis le tome 5 de Hawkmoon, qui introduit le multivers dans cette saga. Moorcock ne cesse de me donner envie d'explorer le concept. Je pense lire Fontenelle et Kripke à ce sujet. #hawkmoon #moorcock #multiverse

Plutôt sympa de relire la saga d'Elric de #Moorcock dans l'ordre chronologique de parution.

Dès la *première* histoire, les bases du personnage tragique, traître et lâche sont posées.

Activity uses a resolution matrix. 2d6 roll to equal or exceed a target number, that's 3x the difficulty of the task or target.

Two Pacts—Swords & Magic—define combat and spells (derived from patron entities). Choose an advance—a weapon for Swords, an entity for Pacts. An advance mods your dice throws.

Latest read, The Visible Men (2006) from The Best of Michael Moorcock. Jerry Cornelius, an English inter-dimensional traveler, rather distractedly discusses the multiverse with his duplicates.
There's a very appealing 60's pop sensibility to the Cornelius stories. I can imagine them being drawn by Peter Max.

Just found that quote in Michael #Moorcock's "The Steel Tsar" (1981). It's not at all meant racist, because any other nationalities / ethnicities can be inserted instead, I deduce from the tone and gist of the book.
