Two of Mom's cows at a neighbors' farm. They are Brown Swisses. Left is Cream Puff and Right is Cocoa Puff. Cocoa Puff is the mother / dam to Cream Puff.

Photography notes, this photo is taken in a large loafing barn and the light coming in from the side is very bright, but the animals are in shadow. It might be that a different position when taking the photos would have been better. I took what I could get without disturbing the herd.

I tried to get a photo of the Brown Swiss lying down, but there were frequent cow photobombers! This is at a neighbor's farm, they use a compost-bedded pack barn (info at link).
