Apparently, I've unlocked 100 "recipes" (enchantments) in #Mordheim City of the Damned.

Which is great. But there's still LOADS of cool enchantments that I've _not_ unlocked. And I've only found a list when you click on an equipped item and click "Enchantments". Which then limits to the relevant type (weapon, shield, armour, helmet, etc)

I want to know _all_ of the enchantments I have, and I want more of the good enchantments that I'm missing!

Playing #Mordheim on the PC. Really enjoying it. Even when I've lost games, I've generally had a good, well-fought battle. Even the long-term impact when I lose is still good!

Which made me think about #MtGArena.

How would it impact Arena (and #MagicTheGathering generally) if damage didn't regenerate? If Toughness was Wounds then chump-blocking would slowly wear down a powerful creature. Sacrificing a 1 power & hoping to draw a 2 or 3 power next turn would help, not just delay the inevitable 🤔

Played some #Mordheim for the last couple of nights (forgot it had in-game save! Too used to Blood Bowl 1!)

Lost one game and losing another in the campaign. But it's still enjoyable and feels like progress.

I'm playing the AI with defined difficulty, so I know the loss is my fault at levels I can beat. Whereas I should be able to shrug off #MtGArena losses as "the human must be more practiced". But I find that more annoying.

Also, I can learn from my mistakes!

A good place as any to start with #Baronstoke is what I use for inspiration and aesthetic touchstones for the setting.

For inspiration: #Mordheim, #Turnip28, the illustrations of Keith Thompson, and Sanctaphrax and Undertown from #TheEdgeChronicles (particularly Chris Riddell's illustrations).

As touchstones, #Annihiliation, #Bloodborne, #DarkSouls, #EldenRing, and the 2009 and 2011 #SherlockHolmes films starring Robert Downy Jr.

A week or two ago I posted a video showing how I've started to make some basic ruins (by gluing paper textures to bits of foamcore)...

...and in the next video I'll be adding some extra details to them (and an upper floor) - which should result in them looking something like this:

(though I still need to actually add the wooden upper floor section - but that's next on the to-do list :) ).

@ErikBB here it is. I've dismantled it now as a roof leaked screwed up the resin pour, and moved the individual buildings to the games club.

After several hours of work, I'm gonna call my girl done. Not sure what to call her, especially since the Dunkeldorf material doesn't give her one...
