My heart is broken for all affected by this unnecessary tragedy in Colorado Springs.
We all need to wake up to the fact that this hate and intolerance is being taught at home, at school, everywhere, and it’s going to require all of us to make it stop. Hate is not something people are born with—it’s something people learn.
