One says his chemo(4th week, kidney cancer) makes the heat tougher but he's ready to beat both.

Also 1st day of school, so watch for kids & school buses

Today’s #volunteering for #MealsOnWheels was a bit heartbreaking, I was informed one of the seniors passed away after a brief hospital stay. I will greatly miss the 15-20 minutes talks Irene & I had every Tuesday & Thursday over the past few years. I made sure to talk to each senior a little longer during today’s visits.

another #volunteering with #MealsOnWheels Thursday. Other than finding out 1 senior went into the hospital, it was uneventful visits with 15 “clients” seniors who all seemed happy to see me with some anxious about the weather.

Today is Meals On Wheels Tuesday, I visited with 8 seniors.

All were in good spirits but humidity was getting to a few.

Had 3 good discussions about the ongoing “road detour maze” I have to follow and potential storms for tonight. All seemed prepared for the weather.
