Listening to @sltrib's #MormonLand talking about #SelfRelianceServices and #LDSCharities.
Hearing that a church with over $100 billion in savings preferring to listen to #NGOs and wealthy corporations over their own religious teachings.
A church whose leaders are more comfortable at a #WorldCongressOfFamilies hatefest than a meeting of faithful members of their own church who are #LGBTQ. A church that villanizes their children and allows parents to kick underahed kids out to the cold streets or tell them they're better off dead than be LGBTQ.
A church that teaches prosperity gospel rather than Christ. That gives to political campaigns to win culture wars instead of giving to the poor and struggling and homeless outside their doors.
I am disgusted.

Listening to @sltrib's #MormonLand podcast, and it's nonsensical. Especially Stuart Reid's statements.
He says he was both brought to tears over the church position, really honestly doesn't care about the bill, and uses threatening and violent rhetoric about the courts and lawyers.
Paul Mero calls himself a culture warrior, fear mongers about the future, and goes as far as to talk about his perceived enemies as the same as those who killed Christ.
Peggy Fletcher Stack does no follow-up or question how especially Stuart's statements are contradictory and illogical.
It's just platforming of sometimes dangerous rhetoric. Stuart's now throwing out the idea that martyrdom may be required.
You're usually better than this, #MormonLand podcast.
