Also an excellent example how the techno-sphere works.
The technosphere does everything to formalise and structurise things, like in this case something randomly coined "the Anthropocene".

* When did it really start?
* What markers and events do we consider of importance?
* Is there a real beginning and/or an end of this period/event or episode?
et cetera, et cetera.

But hey, does it make any difference in the end?
Will it save any species or prevent any molecule contributing to climate change and the demise of humankind.
No, not at all, all these theoretical, philosophical academic mind games will only speed up the process towards extinction.
