Once again MOS pulls its weight. I bought a VPS through the MOS browser, I ssh’ed into it, setup it up and then symlinked the website directory to my MOS desktop so now anytime I want to upload or update my website I just use the Amiga native ASL file system.

MOS is bloody wild at how usable it is on almost 20 year old laptop hardware. #amiga #morphOS

Just about to buy #MorphOS for my iBook G4, I’m going to see how useable it is in the modern era.. maybe I’ll see my gaming PC for PowerMac G5 and run amiga every day lmao. Everything I do now either runs online or I just use my phone, I don’t game on the PC at all anymore.

The real dream would be to run #amigaos4 on an AmigaOne system, but ain’t no way I am spending 2.5k on a dead end system :-(

I have installed #MorphOS with #QEMU today. I was thinking about getting a PPC Mac Mini to test this OS before I realized I can simply emulate the machine which is enough to get a good look at the software.

Initial impressions: The OS would be surprisingly usable as a potential daily driver had the web browser been better. I will use it some more, perhaps I can change my mind about the browser.

I’ve been thinking long and hard on what type of #amiga I want. I’ve decided, that I am going to go with #morphos. I’ll never use the custom chips as I want to learn to write software applications for workbench, rather than making games. I can only thank @TopazRabbit for their pizza timer video for inspiring me to learn.
