Mosaic Records is a reissuer of jazz music that finds the original tapes, cleans them up, presents the recordings in chronlogical order & presents them completely (or as completely as possible) in limited LP/CD (mostly CD now) boxed sets.
Mosaic Records was founded in 1982 & has since produced 275 boxed sets. I've been a collector of Mosaic sets almost since the day they were founded & currently own over 120 of their sets.
Mosaic's most recent set is a complilation of all of the Norman Granz produced "Jazz at the Philharmonic Jazz Sessions" from 1950-1957.
If you are a collector of jazz LPs (as I am), you know how great and how hard it is to find some (let alone ALL) of the original recordings of these "jam" sessions.
I just placed my order for this set &, if you're a fan of the post-Bop, modern jazz from the early 1950's, as I am, you should definitely consider buying a copy of this set.
Here's a link to a description of & audio clips from the set:

I guess you are aware of the fine recordings with Paul Desmond? Mosaic put out an entire box, and it's glorious! Seems it's gone already, but it's not too expensive:

One of the better Davis/Evans collobrations for Columbia IMO. Listening to it via the link you provided now.
I've got a copy of all of the individual Davis/Evans Columbia LPs including the #MosaicRecords compliation pictured below.
