Got to meet a builder this morning, and then off to #MossSide #RepairCafe. for the day.

We're off to #MossSide #RepairCafe this morning.
I wonder what repairs we will have today?

Today we packed all the tools,
And went to #MossSide #RepairCafe.
Did a lot of repairing,
And noting parts needed.
Went to B&Q,
Bought another tool case.
Modified and filled the case,
Used for gluing, soldering, and battery welding.
In the workshop,
It's been a while.
Made new cooking tongs,
And a quick shelf.
Shelf is on the sofa arm,
And takes all the stuff off the cushion.
Ordered more spares and kit,
Spending too much money!
Watched a little YouTube,
And read a bit.
Tired now,
#NightAll.

Another Saturday, another #RepairCafe.
We are at the #BoilerHouse in #MossSide today.

Today we loaded all the tools in the car,
And added a couple of chairs we needed rid of.
Did caretaking,
To move stuff for an electrician.
Then went to #MossSide #Repair Cafe,
And fixed a few things.
Had a packed lunch,
Then gave a volunteer training session.
Came home to do more caretaking,
Putting stuff back in place.
Checked on Dad,
He has been moving furniture again!
Wanted to read for a bit,
But watched a load of YouTube instead.
Tired now,
Time for bed.

#Today I saw a #sculpture of the head of Professor Erinma Bell MBE by Karen Lyons, made from recycled handguns. Professor Bell is a #PeaceActivist and campaigner against gun crime in the #MossSide area of #Manchester. She is the first woman to have a sculpture of herself in #ManchesterTownHall. The sculpture is currently on display in #ManchesterCentralLibrary.
