I called them meatball cookies here because that’s the common identification in North America. However… mom doesn’t like to call them that!! Lol

They’re more appropriately called “#tetù”, or #toto, or even #tutu. This means ‘for you and for me’ or ‘one for you and one for me‘.

Some recipes also all them “#mostaccioli”, although the shape and style varies
