@paul I was just followed by a cryptic account on mostr.pub. When I tried to view its profile in a web browser, all I got was a .bin download. That should not happen.

I'm also an instance admin trying to decide whether to defederate that server. That's a decision we do not take lightly.

I'm considering buying a domain to share with the #ActivityPub #gateway and #bridge community. The idea is it would host public gateway instances, optionally doubling as info sites, available on publicly-listed subdomains, for discoverability and readability.
Is there interest for something like this?
