A day in Tromsø - we went to see the seals at Polaria and had softis in the Arctic heatwave. We are flying home later today, but the boys are staying on in Norway with one of their grandmothers. Yarn will start shipping out tomorrow. #mothyandthesquid

All around our bird feeder, rejected flax seeds have grown and flowered. Escaping the beak, they have provided an unexpected attraction in our garden. They are a beautiful blue with hints of light purple, dark veining, and greenish centres. I’ve attempted to reproduce all these elements in the yarn version.

I’ve called it “The Flax that Escaped”! So much for “no grow” bird seed… 😂
