If someone introduces a #MotionToVacate tonight after the "successful" #SpeakerVote before the session adjourns, I will send a donation to that representative's campaign no matter what party affiliation.

Actual question, now that I think on it.

If the new rules which the reportage has been harping about are accurate and any Representative can introduce a #MotionToVacate, what's to stop that from happening during the zillion pro forma sessions that are gaveled open to prevent #PocketVeto actions?

So if a #USHouseOfRepresentatives vote for #USHouseSpeaker goes through and they can actually get down to business, what's the over/under on business days before the first #MotionToVacate under the new rules? Zero days, or one?

It looks like in order to become #senate #majorityleader #KevinMcCarthy is going to give up something big. The #TeaParty wants the right to put forth a #MotionToVacate

Under that, any lone #House Member can bring up a #vote to oust the current #Speaker

Doesn't sound like a smart thing to do.
