Well, I've done fucked.

My moto g5 plus stopped booting all of a sudden. Just dies at the bootloader with a 'failed to load kernel' error. And no, I couldn't boot into recovery either.

Weird, but the bootloader still works, so I try to run `fastboot boot twrp.img` and I get the beautiful TWRP splash screen.. And then nothing. Just hangs.

Ffs, I guess I'll reboot the phone and try again.

Nope, can't reboot. No bootloader. Hard bricked. FML.

I need a new phone. My last phone was a #Nexus6P, but it died the infamous boot-loop death recently.

I need a budget #Android phone, not a state-of-the-art phone like the over-priced Nexus I had. Any advice welcome!

I bought my kids #MotoG5 a couple of years ago. Best phone ever for the money! Is the successor #MotoG7 something to consider?
