I have "E-go" electric yard equipment. Mower, snowblower, leaf blower, trimmer. They are all part of the same battery ecosystem, which of course makes it's super convenient to swap batteries as needed between them all.

What I find myself wondering though is... why don't they also make an e-bike or a go-kart or some other things?

Ultimately, they're a battery + electric motor company who just happens to attach spinning blades to their battery+motor combo. They could just as easily pivot to attaching a drive chain.

Missed opportunity! c'mon guys!

I'm in need of help! I need some sort of clamp or bracket(?) that pushes outward.

I have about 2 inches of total space & the "travel" looks like it might need to be from 0 to 1 inch.

I was thinking maybe an angle bracket with a threaded hole for a bolt? Maybe something with a horizontal slot that I could slide out?

It's for a small dc motor with a 50mm wheel that will use friction to spin a lazy-susan like display on a pole.

I decided to swap it with a Bluetooth module. But first, I cut a perfboard to fit into the free space next to the motor shield. Soldered the pins and a pin header for the module, including resistors for the voltage divider.

After months of study, I’ve commented on proposed changes to 101, . I don’t serve on SC101, which is responsible for it, but SC943, GFCIs.
Because design doesn’t account for efficient ’ , both UL 943 & UL 101 need updates. It may be easier for manufacturers to have that avoid expensive redesign than to let GFCIs protect the most vulnerable–yet we’re all extrapolating from inadequate .
