First time I posted this I got a telling off - someone took exception to my explaining the scene but not the condition of the driver after his "accident".
Suffice to say this is a well known stunt in the dragster racing world. Known as a fire burnout, for obvious reasons.
The track is doused in flammable liquid and ignited. Driver hits the throttle sending flame everywhere and blowing it out...
It's very dramatic - no-one said it was sane 🙂
