I don't think I'll ever get the innocent, young, seemingly vanilla people who actually think Christian & Satine's love affair/relationship in #MoulinRouge was the most "passionate" affair ever. Like, what?

Did you people even watch the thing? The narcoleptic Argentinian's little finger is filled with more PASSION than the fairly quite lukewarm, bland + in no way PASSIONATE leading pair. Starry-eyed or smitten, but that's not passionate.

The stage version of #moulinrouge looks amazing and is worth going for that only. I felt really annoyed by some choices though, both musical and narrative. In those senses, it’s a pale shadow of what the film was.

So I watched #MoulinRouge for the first time today. I loved #StrictlyBallroom and wanted to see another of #BazLuhrmann's works. I had seen snippets of it before but I never watched it.

Wow.

Great show. I have never really seen anything else like it. It had a good story, I like the way it was shown to us. McGregor and Kidman had great chemistry together. I would definitely watch it again.

Went to see #MoulinRouge in London yesterday. Not something I would have ordinarily chosen (general preference is straight drama, opera, Ibsen or Shakespeare) but it was rather an enjoyable hoot. A bit karaoke in places, but the style of a hedonistic, bohemian, raunchfest was well done and the set was incredible.

Did ya’ll know that the incredible #actor #LukeEvans is also an amazing vocalist?
