Took a stroll down Castro St. in #MountainView and felt pretty sad about all the stores there that didn’t make it through the pandemic. I visited Maru Ichi once a month for their delicious hand-pulled ramen. The sign is still up, but they’re long gone.

The Pulpit Rock at Cheaha State Park provides one of the best views in Alabama. Cheaha is a Creek Indian word meaning high place, which is fitting being that Cheaha Mountain is highest point in AL.
