I think cloudless blue skies are image killers and I have no problem with "tastefully" replacing them.
FWIW, I would not do this if *I* were to use the image for a documentary purpose, and I mark all my images in Lightroom so I know if they've had sky replacements, should I feel a disclaimer is warranted.
