I thought this would be legacy by now but a red teaming talk last week reminded me that there are still users who use input devices that are exploitable via MouseJack.
Check the input devices in your area against this list (https://www.bastille.net/research/vulnerabilities/mousejack/affected-devices) and just throw this piece of crap away.
