I just had spring into my head a fully formed idea for a cosplay "themed" #slasher film that probably should have been made a decade ago.

On the way to a con a group, at least a third of whom are in costume, get waylaid by a masked killer. This would get us:
*Colorful characters running from danger.
*Someones costume hindering them at a critical moment.
*Authority figures not taking them seriously ("Is this some sort of lurp [sic]?" That's LARP." "So it is a game.").
*And a sequel hook in the form of the killer picking up a bloody ticket to the con proper.
