Yesterday I watched La La Land with two of my daughters. Finally. Wow, did I enjoy myself! Still processing… #recommended #movietip

And the 2nd is De Zitting, a Dutch telefilm (movies made for television) in which a woman accuses the male PM candidate of sexual abuse, and the entire movie is situated in court.

There are some moments that it looks like it is turning into a comedy, but also some great moments by actress Kim van Kooten, which i cannot share due to spoilers :-).

Watched 2 movies yesterday.
First is Ruido (Noise) by Natalia Beristaín (Argentina/Mexico, 2022) in which Julia is searching for her missing daughter. It's a very impressive movie, also very saddening because of all the hatred against women (although also many men disappear in Mexico, which is also clearly pointed in the movie). But there are also a few hopeful moments.

Film about #drone pilot, who mainly carries out missions in the Middle East and kills people.
After the #CIA took control of operations from the military takes over his unit also regularly kills civilians. This almost breaks him and his marriage.
Very realistic looking film and very critical of the politics of the USA.
Worth watching!
